🤑 Cryptocurrency rates 5 years ago
🔙 What would you change if you went back 5 years? Some people, even those not particularly versed in the crypto industry, responded to surveys like this: "I'd buy bitcoin".
👀 Here's a look at bitcoin and ether prices in early February 2017:
⚡️Bitcoin = $983
⚡️Ethereum = $10.7
By the way, less than a year later, in late 2017 and early 2018, the price of BTC rose to $20,000+ and the price of ETH rose to $1,000+. After that there was a pullback to bitcoin values of about $10,000 and ether of $500 respectively.
🔆 The desire to buy crypto at such prices now is reasonable. But was it so back then?
Those who bought digital assets in 2017 or earlier did not know that there would be such tremendous growth in crypto assets. They believed in the technology in the first place and were just waiting for it to become more in demand and widespread. Which happened a few years later. Thus, all of the early crypto holders were rewarded, in fact, precisely for believing and waiting.
What do you think is in store for cryptocurrencies in 5 years? Let's imagine! 😎
